Includes standard thickness 24 valve Cummins gasket modified for the use of fire rings.

This kit will also work on 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Diesel Trucks

Requires the machining of grooves into the cylinder head or engine block for use.

6 mild steel rings included.

If you machine a square-flat edged groove, instructions are:

If you plan on using 12mm head studs, groove depth needs to be: 31-32 thousandths deep, with a width of 120 thousandths.

If you plan on using 14mm head studs, groove depth needs to be: 29-30 thousandths deep, with a width of 120 thousandths.

If you plan on machining the head and block, groove depth needs to be: 15-16 thousandths deep in the block, 15-16 thousandth in the head, with a width of 120 thousandths.

03+ Owners, some modification to the gasket will be required, you need to open a few of the coolant passages for proper use. To avoid this, you can purchase our CR fire ring gasket kit.
